Reports reaching our news desk confirm that a top actor in the Nigerian movie industry, John Okafor, well known as Mr Ibu, was involved in a motor accident on Wednesday morning in the city of Lagos.
It was gathered that the popular comic crashed his BMW car, but was lucky to go unhurt.
Aproko247 also learnt that the unfortunate incident occurred along the Lekki-Ikoyi roundabout in Lagos.
Eyewitnesses say Mr Ibu’s car veered off the road and landed on a pavement by the roadside.
Shortly after the accident, which was described as minor to us, passers-by, who identified him, went to help him out with the crashed expensive vehicle.
