A student of the Kogi State Polytechnic has allegedly terminated a six-month old pregnancy and the issue is presently causing ripples in the school.
It was narrated by an eyewitness that the student (name withheld) is now at large, but two persons are already in police custody helping the security agency with investigations.

Pandemonium in Kogi State Polytechnic this morning as a student (name withheld) allegedly aborted a six month old baby. Students residing on campus woke up to meet this omen as a premature baby was found behind one of their female hostels called Hostel D.
The students gathered in scores to witness it and the hostel representative was called to witness it too.
As soon as she got to the scene, she allegedly tried to disperse the students, but they were resilient as some of them started chanting “we want to know the person that did this.”
It was this point that the hostel rep came up with a suggestion of burying the embryo, but minutes later, the school securities arrived at the scene and alerted the police.
When the police came, they asked for the baby and were told that the hostel representative had buried it.
It then they arrested her and took her to the police station for alleged murder.
It was narrated by a lady at the scene that around 5am today, an unknown lady was seen bending down like someone defecating in a polythene bag and she was told to pack her faeces when done, which she agreed to.
But unknown to the eyewitness, the girl was only carrying out her alleged evil plan.
She said she can still identify the said lady if seen, but since morning, nobody has seen the girl around.
However, the hostel rep and the eyewitness are still in police custody.
