Reports reaching us show that popular Yoruba actress, Lola Alao, is no more a practising Christian.
As you read this, she has now converted to Islam and has also changed her name to indicate her conversion.
According to what we gathered, Lola undertook Islamic lessons from a popular Muslim cleric, Adepoju Yusuf.
The cleric announced the conversion of Lola, asking others to join him in congratulating the light-skinned movie star, who he said “just took the Kalimatu Shaa’dah from me.”
The Muslim name of Lola is now Rhodiat.
“May Allah give her proper understanding of Islam and make her well grounded in her new Faith, Al-Islam. Aamiyn,” Yusuf prayed.
