EFCC Lures Students Into Anti-Corruption War

The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC, has called on Nigerian students to buy into the war against corruption, economic and financial crimes in Nigeria.

The plea was made Tuesday, July 12, 2016, when National Association of Management and Business Administration Students, Adamawa State University, Mubi, Adamawa State, paid the Commission a courtesy call at the EFCC Academy, Karu, Abuja.

The Commandant of the Academy, who was represented by Abiodun Adebanjo, welcomed the students and told them that the Commission has the mandate of Preventing, Investigating and Prosecution of all cases of economic and financial crimes in Nigeria.

Head, Enlightenment and Re-orientation Unit, who was represented by Zainab Tifi explained that the unit is responsible for the preventive mandate of the Commission and this mandate is carried out by sensitizing the publics on the ills of corruption by enlightenment and re -orientation of the masses through a well-designed programmes meant for different categories of people in Nigeria.

Francis Micheal who led the students, expressed appreciation to the Commission for giving the students the needed information required to make them better future leaders of this country.
