The ongoing war between Governor Ayodele Fayose of Ekiti State and wife of President Muhammadu Buhari, Aisha, may have taken a new twist with the intervention of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP.
Fayose earlier raised an alarm that Aisha Buhari was indicted in the popular Halliburton scam alongside Dumebi Kachikwu, younger brother to Minister of State for Petroleum, Ibe Kachikwu, but there had been claims that the said Aisha Buhari is not the President’s wife, probably an impostor.
Mrs Buhari reacted to this via her Twitter page, calling the Ekiti governor a mad dog that isn’t chained.
The First Lady further said she was ready for a fight with Fayose.
But reacting, the PDP said Aisha Buhari has the tendency to kill Fayose because of the issue at hand.
The party, through its official Twitter handle, made this claim.
It advised Fayose to be extra careful because of his life.
“This woman is capable of assassinating governor Fayose for exposing her corrupt dealings.
“Governor Fayose may have to take extra security measures to prevent Aisha Buhari or the first family from assassinating him,” the party, which Fayose also belongs, said.
