The Lagos State Environmental Sanitation and Special Offences Unit says it will enforce the Lagos State Road Traffic Laws of 2012 around all filling stations across state.

This was disclosed on Sunday by Chairman of the agency, Olayinka Egbeyemi, during an exercise to clear traffic around petrol stations in some parts of the state.

Egbeyemi noted that irrespective of the fuel situation in the country, parking at obstruction zones around filling stations, which in turn causes traffic gridlock on the roads, would no longer be condoned.

The Lagos Task Force boss said any vehicle parked illegally on the road, which disturbs free flow of traffic would henceforth be impounded.
