Young, intelligent and vibrant Public Relations consultant, Timilehin Bello fondly called Big Timi has left Black House Media, BHM, owned by Adekunle Ayeni.
Big Timi resigned from BHM last Friday to set up his own PR company, Media Panache.
According to him, “It wasn’t an easy decision. I’m really proud of working at BHM, It’s been a great journey, and I really want to appreciate Mr Ayeni Adekunle and the BHM team for the opportunity. I wish them more successes.
“I’m also delighted that I’m starting my own company. This is what I’ve always wanted to do. I can’t really describe how I feel at the moment but the feeling is good considering the fact that my dream is coming true. I can’t wait to see the company grow to become one of Nigeria’s leading PR agencies.”
He further disclosed that, “For the next few weeks, I’d be working on getting the right certifications with bodies such as PRCAN, NIPR and few others.”
BHM, in its tweet last week, said “We’re really going to miss @bigtimi at BHM! We wish you Luck! We love you!”
Big Timi boasts of many enviable feats especially during his time at BHM, where he worked with the biggest names in the corporate and entertainment industry.
He joined BHM in April 2014 and started in Digital Media where he majored on social media.
Within six months of proving his mettle, Timilehin was transferred to Public Relations Department/Client Service Department in September 2014. His first role was to serve as an assistant on Hennessy/Viacom Account.
Having recorded great success in his first task, he was made the client service/Consultant for Gulder Ultimate Search XI, which recorded unprecedented result and put Timilehin on the chart as a man with enviable PR skills.
Not relenting on his efforts, Timilehin was given the nod to serve as client service for Nigerian Breweries’ Star Lager in December 2014. The task included projects such as Lagos Countdown/Star Bottle Tree, which made international headlines and also culminated into Star receiving an award during the ADVAN Awards in 2015.
In February 2015, Timilehin Bello, under BHM, was again made the client service/Consultant of Star Music Trek, which saw Artists share their superstar story and head on to different cities to give superlative performance and create excitements among fans. In June, Timilehin, still under BHM was the man behind the ambush sampling activations and communications for Nigerian Breweries’ Star Radler; a task under which he excelled tremendously.
Other amazing accomplishments under Timilehin’s portfolio include Star Superfans – the popular football game show brought to fans by Star as well as the digital amplification of the Gulder inspiring TV Commercial.
Timilehin enjoyed great success discharging PR duties under BHM, and after almost two years of illustrious service, he is set to move on to greater heights.
