Kano Gov. Abdullahi Ganduje Loses Mum

The governor of Kano State, Abdullahi Umar Ganduje is bereaved and this is as a result of the loss of his mother, Hajiya Fadimatu Umaru Ganduje.

The deceased passed away on Friday, March 4, 2016, by 7am in Kano at the age of 95.

Since the incident happened, the governor has been receiving condolences from his colleagues, other top government functionaries as well as concerned citizens of the state, both far and near.

A statement by Madakin Ganduje, Alhaji Sama’ila Umar, disclosed that the aged woman is survived by six children, among whom are he, Dr Abdullahi Umar Ganduje, Alhaji Hussaini Umar Ganduje, who is the Executive Secretary of Kano State Teachers Board.

Late Hajiya Ganduje was buried at Ganduje town by 2pm on Friday after Friday prayers.
