Former Secretary of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, in Ekiti State, Tope Aluko, has stressed that he has no intention of joining the All Progressives Congress, APC, as being speculated in some quarters.

Aluko, in an interview with SaharaReporters, disclosed that joining the APC is not in his plans, adding that the former governor of Ekiti, Kayode Fayemi, who lost his seat to Ayodele Fayose of the PDP during the governorship election in 2014, might still not be happy with him because of the loss.

The PDP chieftain, who claimed on national televisions that the gubernatorial poll was rigged by his party, further said he will continue to remain in the PDP, boasting that he brought Fayose into the party.

He alleged that the governor’s Special Assistant on Media, Lere Olayinka, impersonated his wife, Yemi Ajide Olayinka, some years ago by writing exams for her at the Nigerian Institute Journalism, NIJ, in Ogba, Lagos.

Aluko further said Olayinka has never been to the university before as a student. He made this comment following allegation made by Fayose’s aide that he (Aluko), was involved in certificate racketeering while at the University of Ado Ekiti as lecturer.
