NEMA Rescues Victims Of Abuja Explosions

Officials of the National Emergency Management Agency, NEMA, have arrived scene of Friday night multiple explosions in two separate areas of Abuja.

Suspected members of Boko Haram struck in Nyanya and Kuje on Friday night, killing several persons and injuring many others.

Rescue teams were promptly deployed to the scene to evacuate victims to various hospitals, the Press Office of NEMA in Abuja, Manzo Ezekiel, said in a statement.

It was further disclosed that “the rescue operations coordinated by NEMA is still on-going.”
