Chelsea Will Regret Sacking Me—Mourinho

Jose Mourinho
Jose Mourinho says if Chelsea decide to remove him as manager, especially now they are passing through fire, they would have sacked the best manager in the club history.

The Portuguese, in his post-match interview, said he will not walk away from his responsibilities and urged the club and players to also take responsibilities for the club’s woes at the moment.

“I am not running away. If the club wants to sack me, they have to sack me. If Chelsea sack me, they sack best the manager they had,” the former Real Madrid coach said.

“This is a moment for people to assume their responsibilities. I assume my responsibility and the players should assume theirs too. There are other people at the club who should assume their responsibilities and stick together,” the former Inter and Porto coach added.

The EPL champions were defeated on Saturday at Stamford Bridge against Southampton 3-1.

Mourinho claimed the referees are not being fair with Chelsea, saying his team would have got a penalty when Falcao went down in second half, when the game was still at 1-1.

The ‘Special One’ also hinted that winning the league this season might not be possible for Chelsea anymore.
