According to reports reaching our news room, a former Chairman of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, in Bayelsa State, Col Sam Inokoba, has passed on.
Inokoba reportedly died on Wednesday afternoon in Lagos.
The deceased only defected to the All Progressives Congress, APC, about two weeks ago and was said to have slumped during a function put together to celebrate his defection from the PDP to the APC.
He was aged 68 years old. He was to contest the governorship primaries of the APC.
