Tinubu, Akande Shun APC NEC Meeting

National leader of the All Progressives Congress, APC, Bola Tinubu, is absent at the ongoing National Executive Committee, NEC, meeting of the party in Abuja.

The meeting was called following crisis rocking the ruling party over leadership of the National Assembly.

Also not present at the meeting is former National Chairman of the party, Bisi Akande.

Tinubu and Akande, former governors of Lagos and Osun States respectively, were not seen at the meeting attended by some of the party chieftains.

Our correspondent could not ascertain reasons for Tinubu and Akande’s absence at the crucial meeting.
