A journalist working with the News Agency of Nigeria, NAN, has been kidnapped by some unknown gunmen.
The victim, Ms Chide Okpara, is the Imo State correspondent of the Federal Government owned news agency.
She was abducted on Wednesday night just as she got home from work.
Our reporter learnt that Chide was seized by the kidnappers at her residence in Uratt road in Owerri, Imo State as she alighted from a car.
As at the time of filing in this report, no words have been heard from her abductors.
