The management of Lagos State University, LASU, has directed the closure of the institution. This order was made on Monday by authorities of the school.
According to a statement issued by a representative of the institution, students and employees of LASU are directed to leave the school premises on Monday, March 23, 2015.
This decision was made to enable students of LASU to be with their parents and guardians ahead of the presidential election on Saturday, March 28, 2015.
The statement added that a resumption date would be announced later.
On April 11, the governorship polls will take place in some states of the federation.
