45 Killed In Fresh Boko Haram Attack In Borno
No fewer than 45 souls were lost in a new attack on a Borno village on Wednesday.
Suspected members of Boko Haram struck the village in the state. The insurgents invaded Azaya Kura community at about 12 noon on Wednesday, reports said.
Azaya Kura village is under Mafa local government area of Borno State.
The terrorists carried out the attack in their usual style; destroying properties and some livestocks. They stormed the village in trucks and took away some food items.
They reportedly shot at residents of the area, which led to many sustaining serious injuries. Some of the residents fled to the bush to avoid being wasted by the ravaging terrorists.
