Nigerian Breweries Wins Big At SERA 2014

Four awards were won over the weekend by Nigerian Breweries Plc at a glamorous award ceremony held in Lagos.

Nigerian Breweries, a leading brewing company in Nigeria, was rewarded for its tireless Corporate Social Responsibility, CSR, activities in the country.

At the 2014 edition of the annual Social Enterprise Report and Awards, SERA, Nigerian Breweries was voted as the Most Active Company in CSR Activities of the Year.

The reputable company was also announced as the Best Company in Infrastructure, Best Company in Supply Chain of the Year, CSR Practitioner of the Year and the overall Most Active Company in CSR Activities of the Year, thereby making Nigerian Breweries the most socially responsible corporate citizen in Nigeria at the moment.

Receiving the awards on behalf of the company, the Corporate Affairs Adviser of Nigerian Breweries Plc, Kufre Ekanem, expressed the company’s joy in being voted as the socially responsible company in Nigeria by the very critical Nigerian citizenry.
