Oduah Is The Most Credible In Anambra–Group

A group of elders from Anambra North Senatorial Zone in Anambra State, has described former Minister of Aviation, Stella Oduah, as the most credible person to represent the region in the Senate come 2015.

At a meeting held over the weekend, the elders said they might consider the controversial ex-minister for the position, which is currently being occupied by wife of a late former Senate President, Chuba Okadigbo, Margery.
Spokespersons of the group; Sylvanus Ohaemesi, Alex Obiogbolu, Nwachukwu Nwosu, Sylvester Odife Jnr, Chris Eluemuno and Vin Obi, said bringing an international airport to Igboland makes Oduah their choice for the 2015 job.

The group said further that since the airport cost the woman her job, she might be compensated for with a slot in the Senate. The elders described Oduah as the best Aviation Minister Nigeria ever had.

Anambra North Senatorial Zone comprises seven local government areas, which are Onitsha North, Onitsha
South, Anambra East, Anambra West, Oyi, Ayameluma
and Ogbaru.

Margery hails from Oyi, while Oduah is from Ogbaru.

Oduah was removed from office after mounting pressures from the media and civil society groups over her alleged involvement in the N250 million two bullet proof car deals.
