How Policeman Attached To Wema Bank Shot Man In Lagos

Policemen, as Nigerians have been made to believe by the Nigeria Police Force, are meant to be citizens’ friends, but in reality, they have mostly become enemies.

There are many cases of extra-judicial killings by these ‘men in black’, as police officers are sometimes called by Nigerians, due to the colour of their uniform.

It was not a good day for an unidentified bus conductor, who was allegedly shot by a police officer attached to a Wema Bank branch on Oba Akran Way in Lagos. The incident took place on some days ago and life was almost sniffed out of the young man, who kept rolling on the ground in pain as blood gushed out from his thigh, where he was shot.

Aproko247 gathered that the police officer allegedly shot the bus conductor because he caused a traffic build up in the area.

However, some angry on-lookers reacted to the incident and destroyed some properties around the bank.

Meanwhile, Wema Bank’s representative could not be reached by Aproko247 for comment as at the time this story was published.
