Gov Akpabio In Flaming Affair With Osaze Odemwingie’s Ex-Babe, Freda Edewor

The name, Freda Edewor Francis is not new in the Lagos social circle. In fact, those who are the silent movers and shakers of the social scenes of Lagos will know that this fair-complexioned lady cannot be joked with, doing so will be detrimental.

If you will recall, this lady was once rumoured to have lubricated and provided warmth to Super Eagles striker, Osaze Odemwingie, until she was dumped for his present wife.

It was even speculated then that Freda had thought in her mind that the England-based footballer would take her to his mother until she discovered that such an opportunity would never come to pass. Those who claimed to be in the know murmured that the incident left the pretty lady devastated as she never expected that the Edo State-born goal poacher would ever dump her for another woman.

You will recall that Freda has also been romantically linked with Mavin Records boss, Don Jazzy, though this was never confirmed by the duo.

Freda, who is the owner of a jewellery store; Kristos, was also romantically linked to Iyanya’s manager, Franklin Ubi, who was also said to have tasted Freda’s ‘apple’. The story of Freda may never be completely written without the mention of these people.

The latest of the lady’s lover is the alleged lavish spender, the Governor of Akwa-Ibom State, Godswill Akpabio, who many have sworn is spoiling Freda with love and gifts.

Governor Akpabio, as some believe, loves pretty women and is ready to spend the ‘generally acceptable paper’ on any lady he desires. Little wonder some Nollywood stars pray to just have a one-on-one meeting with the ‘generous’ or ‘ATM’ Governor, as some prefer to call the eloquent Akwa-Ibom State number one citizen.

It was whispered to First Weekly by hovering birds that since Freda came in contact with the Chairman of the PDP Governors’ Forum, she has never regretted it.

According to those who claimed to be in the know, Governor Akpabio has been lavishing his alleged new found love with several gifts, including a house in Lekki, Lagos. It was also revealed that the Governor has also sponsored Freda’s trips abroad.

“While the First Lady has been busy with her ‘Family Life Initiative’ pet project for widows in the state, the Governor has been busy with Freda, who is giving him what men want from women. She has been the Governor’s companion and is also readily available for him,” a source told this magazine.

It was also disclosed to us that Freda has virtually become the Biblical ‘you can only get to the Father through the son’, but a ‘daughter’ in this regard.

“Anyone who needs favours from the Governor virtually gets such through Freda,” we were told.
