The club has since named Ryan Giggs as the interim coach and would be in charge when Manchester United plays Norwich City on Saturday evening in a Barclays Premier League match.

Moyes was relieved of his job after a 2-0 loss at Everton on Sunday. The loss to Everton confirmed the club’s inability to play in the prestigious and lucrative Champions League next season. Shortly after Moyes’ sack was announced, the price of United’s stock at the New York’s Stock Exchanged went up. Some fans have been in happy mood since the former Everton man was axed by United.
