A mild drama ensued on Wednesday afternoon at the ongoing National Conference when one of the delegates fainted. The victim, Ezenwa Ifeanyinwa, a representative of the Market Women Association, was returning from the lunch break to resume for the afternoon, but she slumped on her way.
She was quickly rushed by security operatives to one of the ante rooms at the National Judicial Institute, venue of the Conference, before medical personnel attended to her.
Security operatives stationed at the venue of the Conference later asked newsmen present at the scene of the incident to leave.
